Humayun
was the son of the Babur, the founder of the Mughal dynasty. After Babur's
death, Humayun established his capital in Delhi but couldn't maintain it and
got defeated by the Persian king, Sher Shah Suri. As a result he was forced
to spend his life in exile in the court of the Persian ruler of Iran. Soon
after the death of the Afghan king, he got a chance to return to Delhi. But
he couldn't really enjoy the fresh air of Delhi for long and died of falling
in 1556.![]() |
